It is the best hotel in Emporia Kansas. I grew up visiting my grandmother in Emporia and it is by far the best choice. So if you are going to Emporia for whatever reason that maybe (there is nothing to do there) then you might as well go with the White Rose. Unless you like to stay in old moldy Holiday Inn's or other weird hotels i have never even heard of. meer

I stayed at White Rose during my interview for a position at ESU. Academic interviews are long multi-day affairs and the White Rose was a perfect refuge from the rigors of interviewing. It was a perfect place for a calming break. I would highly recommend White Rose to anyone visiting Emporia. meer

I simply love this B&B. Each time I stay here, I discover another wonderful room refreshingly full of character. It is evident that the hosts, Sam and Lisa, have lovingly cared for and furnished this place. They are so accommodating and never intrusive. Every time I take a trip through Emporia, I plan my driving and route so that I can stay overnight at White Rose Inn again. meer

This is a wonderful bed and breakfast place! I am here to defend it. The thing I love about bed and breakfast places is how much quieter they are and the old fashioned flavor of these houses. One cannot here the people or t.v. in the next room like at a motel. I, for one, will never stay at a regular hotel any more. B &B's are so much better and the ambience at this... meer

Hello,Don't get stuck like I did! The pictures on the internet paint a different picture of the place. The owners tell you of a beautiful plush bedroom darned with feather bedding private whirl pool bath, etc. First of all it's location is not desireable and secondly it reminded me of grandmas house. The room was so small that the bed had to be turned cockeyed just so we could walk around the side of it.... meer
