町自体はメルボルンからだいぶ離れた小さな田舎町です。 観光メインというより、ホームステイ受け入れのホストファミリーが多い。 タウン移動は自家用車がメインで、自動車で町の中心部から少し走っていくと、羊や牛や馬などの牧場があり、のんびりした光景が広がっています。乳製品はほんとにおいしいです。水の色がきれいなブルーのビーチも近くにあり、よい波がくるので、サーファーやボディボードも楽しめます。川は流れが静かで、川遊びはもちろん、地元学生のボート部などが、よく練習している光景も見られます。 meer
