Who can get listings?

Only official representatives of the property, service or company can request or change listings. TripAdvisor visitors can let us know about a great place by writing a user review of it.

Select your listing type:

Type	Appears	Restrictions
Accommodation		We list accommodations that offer multiple rooms/units at one specific address and can accommodate more than one party of guests at a time. The accommodation must have an official name and address. The accommodation must offer daily onsite Management. We consider any accommodation that specifically accepts only a small/specific segment of the traveling public as guests to be "Specialty Lodging."
	"Hotels" tab	To be in the "Hotels" tab, the accommodation must offer all four of these features: A 24 hour front desk. Daily housekeeping included in the room rate. Private bathroom for each unit. If there is a minimum-stay requirement, it must be no more than 3 nights.
	"B&B/Inns" tab	To be in the "B&B/Inns" tab, the accommodation must have: Onsite staff. Daily housekeeping included in the room rate.
	"Other Lodging" tab	To be in the "Other Lodging" tab, the accommodation must have: Onsite staff.
		Note: Any accommodation that offers shared (dorm-style) rooms will be considered a Hostel, and will be listed in "Other Lodging."
	"Vacation Rentals" tab	We have recently partnered with FlipKey to provide reviews of private vacation rentals on TripAdvisor. Listings and traveler reviews gathered on FlipKey will be integrated into the TripAdvisor site. At this time, we are not accepting new listings of vacation rentals directly on TripAdvisor. Property managers and home owners: Visit FlipKey to find out more about getting listed. Note: Timeshares will not be included on the "Vacation Rentals" tab and may not be listed as accommodations. They may, however, be listed as Resources (see below).
Attractions	Attractions section	We list permanent places of interest to tourists. Seasonal places (e.g., farmer's markets, flea markets), items solely on the web or services such as classes or information services may be listed as Resources (see below) but not as attractions. The attraction must have an official name, address and published telephone number. It must be open/available to customers on a regularly scheduled basis. Pre-determined hours or departure times must be published on an official website or in a printed brochure. If the attraction is not in a fixed place (e.g., tour or cruise), then scheduled departure times, place of departure and destinations (if applicable) must be provided on the website or in the brochure. We list companies that offer Day Tours/Cruises.
Restaurants	Dining section	We list individual restaurants that are open to the general public.
Resources	Maps section	We list travel resources that fall into one of the following categories: Official Tourism information Timeshares Tour companies: overnight or individual services Miscellaneous

Other restrictions:

We allow one listing per accommodation, attraction, restaurant or resource.
We do not list: reservation/booking sites, accommodation directories, travel agencies or temporary items such as events or performances. If your listing falls into one of these categories, you may be eligible for a link exchange with TripAdvisor instead of a listing.

TripAdvisor reserves the right to change these policies at any time and to refuse or remove any listing request for any reason.
